### Founding Engineer at [Recall.ai](https://recall.ai) (May 2022 — Jul 2025)

**Rust, Django, Python, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, AWS**

First hire. Joined at pre-seed (2 co-founders, ~10 customers, 50–100 concurrent bots). Left post-Series B (20-person team, 500+ customers, 10k+ concurrent bots at peak).

- Built Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and WebEx bot integrations from scratch
- Owned the calendar integration product end-to-end
- Led redesign of the consumer-facing API, migrated 500+ customers with full backwards compatibility
- Scaled bot infra from 100 to 10k+ concurrent bots
- Full stack: media processing pipeline (Rust), meeting bot integrations (TypeScript), API layers (Django/Python)
- Talked to customers regularly via shared Slack channels and video calls
- Actively involved in early engineering team hiring

### Co-Founder at [Glood.AI](https://glood.ai) (Nov 2019 — Jan 2022)

**JavaScript, React, Shopify, Node.js**

Co-founded a personalization and recommendations platform for Shopify merchants. Grew from ~20 stores to 500 active stores, $1K to $25K MRR.

- Led entire frontend: merchant dashboards and storefront widget scripts
- Built drag-and-drop live editing experience for recommendation widget placement
- Average +10% lift in AOV and CTR across merchants
- Advocated for extending trial period from 7 to 14 days, improved conversion from 10% to 25-30%
- Talked to customers daily via Intercom, Slack, and in-person meetings
- Helped key merchants implement custom features in their stores
- Ran end-to-end recruiting for engineering hiring

**Ruby on Rails, Next.js, TypeScript, GraphQL**

- Owned engineering for Makers Festival and Founders Club (concept to launch)
- Built unified notification system (in-app + email + web push) with smart batching

## Interests

### Founding-Stage Product Engineering

Building product, talking to users, reverse-engineering 3rd party modules and figuring out 80/20 solutions. I've done this multiple times over and I don't get tired of it.

### AI-Augmented Development

I'm curious about how engineers are integrating AI into their workflows. My current setup is fully voice-driven development with [Wispr Flow](https://wisprflow.ai/) and [Claude Code](https://claude.ai/code) as my tools of choice. I'd love to exchange notes.
